RMFY believes that systemic change for a community is developed through collaboration, community conversations, and thoughtful execution. With that said, community partnerships are vital, and RMFY actively looks for opportunities to partner with organizations to provide quality programming and support services to the youth of our community.
With a strategic focus on social and emotional learning for students, CMS provides RMFY with the opportunity to serve students in an effort to increase student support and accountability. The administrators, teachers, counselors and resource officers are invaluable members of the RMFY team.

Bragg Financial Advisors The Charlotte Observer described Bragg Financial Advisors as a “small company with a big heart.” That’s because BFA is committed to improving our community. Beginning with co-founder Frank Bragg, BFA has continued to contribute time and money to RMFY with tenacity and vision for impacting the lives of youth in Mecklenburg County. Mr. Bragg continues to be a valued supporter and has inspired his sons, John, Benton, and Phillips, and son-in-law, Steve Scruggs to support the RMFY mission.

Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Along with being co-founded by CMPD Sgt. Dave Scheppegrell (retired), RMFY is proud of the continued support we receive from local law enforcement to change the lives of the youth we serve! RMFY is in line with the goals of the Youth Engagement Unit of CMPD to provide a continuum of program opportunities for youth and young adults who are at risk of or involved in delinquent or criminal activity. These opportunities are designed to increase program opportunities for youth and reduce the number of youth referred to the criminal justice system, delinquent or criminal activity by youth, and delinquent or criminal recidivism by youth. The commitment of CMPD to our youth has had a profound impact on the lives of the more than 30,000 students served through RMFY.

Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office RMFY’s impact is rooted in the support we receive from local law enforcement. This includes the strong partnership we have with MCSO. The Sheriff’s Office has representation on our Board of Directors, and supports our efforts in helping youth turn obstacles into opportunities. Deputies also work with RMFY Program Specialists during the weekly group meetings. It should also be noted that MCSO is a force to be reckoned with during the Twilight 5K as their teams come out in droves to support the mission. In fact, their teams average more than 500 runners every year! We appreciate and applaud their commitment to our youth and to moving the City of Charlotte forward.

Duke Energy Duke Energy has awarded $25,000 grants for general operating funds to Right Moves For Youth as we are dedicated to the fight for social justice and racial equity. Grants will empower nonprofits that are led by, and provide services to, communities of color.

Textum Aaron Feinberg, President and CEO of Textum Weaving, Inc., serves as a prime example of someone who talks the talk and walks the walk. Mr. Feinberg saw the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children in Mecklenburg county and he embraced it. Not only has he been a consistent supporter of RMFY, but Textum has provided career exploration opportunities for our youth. Mr. Feinberg served on our Board of Directors (former Chairman), and readily serves an advisor to share his business acumen for organizational growth and mission achievement.

Sisters of Mercy North Carolina Foundation Sisters of Mercy of North Carolina Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life for the economically poor, women, children and the elderly. In 2013, RMFY formed a new partnership with Sisters of Mercy North Carolina Foundation. Their investment allowed us the opportunity to increase organizational infrastructure and continue quality programming for countless youth.

The Leon Levine Foundation Started by Leon Levine in 1980, The Leon Levine Foundation’s mission is to improve the human condition by creating permanent, measurable and life-changing impact throughout the Carolinas. The organization invests in nonprofits with strong leadership, a successful track record and a focus on sustainability in the areas of healthcare, education, Jewish values and human services. RMFY has been a partner organization since 2017, and has leveraged their support to strengthen our infrastructure and serve more youth in our community.

Merancas Foundation The Merancas Foundation seeks to support non-profit organizations that provide the vital safety nets to our at risk community (food, shelter, safety, health); improve academic achievement for children; and enable economic independence for adults. Since 2014, RMFY and the Merancas Foundation have been working together to change the lives of at-risk youth in Charlotte.

HoopTee Charities HoopTee Charities, Inc. promotes the education, health, physical fitness, and well-being of underprivileged children through scholarships for camps and other education and athletic programs. Under the leadership of its founder, Fred Whitfield, HoopTee Charities has partnered with RMFY since 2018 to provide our comprehensive student support and youth development services to 80 middle and high school students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.

CPI Security Since 2010, CPI Security has partnered with RMFY to make a difference in the lives of the youth we serve. Proudly wearing the title as the Presenting Sponsor for our Annual Twilight 5K, CPI provides unrestricted dollars that directly support RMFY programming to more than 1600 youth we serve annually. Piper Sandler Piper Sandler’s involvement in community is many-faceted. Through foundation and corporate giving, sponsorship and employee programs, they make a difference by providing funds to non-profit organizations. RMFY began a partnership with Piper Sandler in 2013 through former board member, David Patterson. David's commitment to Right Moves for Youth and his willingness to advocate on our behalf extended beyond his years of board service.

Charleys Kids Foundation The Charleys Kids Foundation is proud to partner with the Right Moves for Youth program. We actively selected the program due to the Charleys Kids Foundation's mission to provide support systems and children's necessary resources to succeed. The Right Moves for Youth program aligns with us and accomplishes this by providing service learning, resources, and mentoring to help students graduate high school with a plan for their future success.
