We are excited to unveil our NEW event schedule—designed to create more meaningful experiences while maximizing our impact on students throughout the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area!

At Right Moves For Youth (RMFY), we believe that every student deserves the support and opportunities to thrive in school and life. By being intentional with our resources, we ensure that more students receive the guidance and mentorship they need to succeed. To enhance our reach and impact, RMFY will now host one signature fundraising event per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30), with our two premier events alternating annually.

Heat Up The Night is an evening social gathering that brings together supporters of RMFY. We highlight supporters of our Giving Society, “The 2025 Society”, and all donors who make our programs possible. Heat Up The Night occurs the first Thursday in December.
Twilight 5K has been running in Uptown Charlotte for 28 years! This family-friendly race for all runners is unique because it takes place on a Friday night in spring through a course in uptown. This event is also special because of the deep commitment from law enforcement every year in their participation and volunteerism.
