RMFY Holiday Donor Appreciation Reception
Right Moves for Youth (RMFY) staff, board members, and stakeholders came together to celebrate the holidays, but also share one common bond: the importance of investing in our youth, the future leaders of our society.
RMFY held its annual Holiday & Donor Appreciation Cocktail on December 6th at Aria Tuscan Grille. At the event, guests had the opportunity to learn how their support has made an impact in the community. RMFY alumni, including James Jones and Linda DeLeon shared how RMFY helped them transition into adulthood successfully with guests.
Longtime supporter and former board member Teresa Brenner encouraged the guests to not only continue investing in RMFY, but to invest more this holiday season. Brenner grew up in a household of educators. She emphasized the importance that adult mentors and positive role models play in a youth’s life, making the work RMFY does in the community so critical. RMFY reaches 1,600 middle and high school students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools each year.
Executive Director Tayuanee Dewberry unveiled RMFY’s new giving societies, thanking donors for their commitment and dedication over the years. The new giving societies are Student Sponsor ($500 – $4,999), Hi-Fiver ($5,000 – $9,999), Group Leader ($10,000 – $24,999), School Ambassador ($25,000 – $49,999), Right Movers ($50,000+), and Founders Circle ($100,000+).
We want to thank all of our guests for attending the event and continuing to support RMFY! We could not do the work we do, reach as many youth as we do and serve as many schools as we do without your help!
